Merry Christmas to me, from me. It only took about 15-20 minutes to install and the whole front end feels tighter and more responsive. The difference isn't drastic, but I can definitely feel that it's improved. Not a terrible way to spend $87.

What's the car? I've got a few guesses that could go a number of ways.

I've always wondered about there effectiveness on FWD (or fwd biased awd) cars because the cowl is so close. But if you say you can feel it, its worth it.

You've got to have one, every picture online has all that damn, annoying, ugly, stupid plastic monstrosity covering everything:

As far as plastic covers go, I actually like that one. That said, mine is an Aero so it comes without the cover and I prefer it that way. And yes, it's a Dart.

That certainly does make sense, especially since my car has so much front overhang. A cross brace would probably be much more effective than this, but I do feel a difference and it seems to handle a bit better. Of course, all I have to go off of is my butt dyno.

Ahhh, that's cool some of them came without.
Engine covers are like women, it's always better natural and plastic free.

Agreed. Here's essentially the same car as mine, but with the cover, because SXT.

Yeah, yours wins hands down. Still, I miss when engine bays were designed to show the functional areas. I think my first car was just about perfect for a mass-produced, FWD, fairly economical car:

Butt dynos are where its at, as long as you can feel a difference thats all that matters IMO.
Also I just checked I can't even find one for my car :( There are no bolts on the strut towers for some reason.

Even the KA24 in my 94 Altima looked pretty good. That was back when automakers would stamp things like "Twin Cam 16V" on the valve/cam covers.
Here's a better look at mine.

Is that a Crossfire you have? SRT didn't include one on the SRT6?

Ahhh yes, when they would actually put script on the engine bay.... Those were the days. Being an automotive engineer dealing with assemblies underhood, I fully appreciate how much easier life is for validation if the class A surface under hood is non-corroding, non-oxidizing, long lasting plastics.... But lord do I miss how good it used to look.
I've actually ended up with fairly well showing cars for each of those I have had:

Nope, Its gotta be something with the suspension or I don't even know what.

nah two things gave it away:
1: he always posts about his dart and darts in general
2:
he tagged it. haha

That's rough. Damn Germans, this is why we can't have nice things.
